On Sunday morning in New York City, when chilly autumn breezes finally set in, Tory Burch’s Spring/Summer 2022 show was taking place on Mercer Street.

As always, a murmur to mid-career women who seek affordable quality with a timeless taste, with bright color hues, this collection intertwined simple, classic and playful silhouettes. Breaking the stereotypes of “office lady’s outfits are tedious and serious,” Burch codes her secret message through the collection: as we’re living in a new world after the pandemic, we, career women, gotta shine. 

When it comes to plaid and stripe patterns, most people pay extra attention to them, especially when they’re combined with multiple colors. But under Burch’s design, no matter if it’s paid or stripe, a pop of highly saturated color is the dearest friend. 

In this season’s collection, while the top’s cut accentuating the upper body lines and curves, the bottoms’ wide legs enable you to move freely. They remind you that being comfy is as important as being elegant.
