It’s hard to miss singer-songwriter Ruel, wherever he is in the world. Not just because he’s 6′ 5″ with shaggy blonde hair, but because you’ll most likely catch him holding an electric guitar while belting out his latest tunes, which has amassed him over 3 million monthly listeners, a debut studio album released just last year, four EPs (the second of which was the moment where V first met Ruel), and even a collaboration with VMAN cover star alum Omar Apollo.

As he embarked on a mini tour in support of his newest EP Adaptations, VMAN tagged along on his multi-state adventure around the US as he played his first-ever Lollapalooza set (!) and sang his little Aussie heart out at his sold-out headlining shows at the Gramercy Theatre in New York on August 6th, and The Roxy Theatre in LA on August 8th.
