Swedish pop singer and songwriter Tove Lo is one of music's most daring, subversive artists today. Last year's record Lady Wood not only challenged stereotypes of women, but awakened a sense of sexual empowerment for women everywhere - indicated by Tove Lo's striking album art, which is clearly here to stay.

In recent news, the acclaimed artist has announced she is set to release her next record titled Blue LipsĀ out on November 17th via Island Records, and the forthcoming album is said to be the "phase II" to her highly acclaimed Lady Wood.

Featuring her recent single "Disco Tits," the new album following up the theme of her 2016 full-length is also set to include 11 additional tracks for a total of 12 new songs. And just as Lady Wood was split into two chapters - Fairy Dust and Fire Fade - Blue Lips is split into Light Beams and Pitch Black. Though few details have been shared about the forthcoming songs, as the November 17th release is the second half to the pop star's all-encompassing vision for her Lady Wood phase, one can expect the same sort of provocative, innovative sound.
