Travis Scott and McDonald’s Partner For Signature Meal

Travis Scott’s label Cactus Jack partners with McDonald’s to create a signature meal and more.

In a more unexpected twist, Travis Scott is partnering with McDonald’s. This morning, he tweeted that Cactus Jack Records, his label, would be coming to McDonald’s on Sept. 8. His “go-to order” will be available at restaurants across the country through Oct. 4. The meal, which costs a total of $6, includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, a medium fry with BBQ sauce, and a Sprite. This collaboration marks the first time McDonald’s has featured a celebrity meal since Michael Jordan had one in 1992.

McDonald’s chief marketing officer, Morgan Flatley, said, “Travis is a true McDonald’s fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world.”

Scott himself added that they were “bringing together two iconic worlds.” Celebrity and restaurant collabs appear to be a burgeoning trend, aimed particularly at younger audiences. Just yesterday, Dunkin Donuts announced that they had created “The Charli,” a cold-brew drink named after teen TikTok icon Charli D’Amelio.

Scott, however, seems to be taking the collab further than just food. Cactus Jack has designed custom apparel for staff to wear during the promotion. With McDonald’s, they are also exploring how to include charitable organizations in their partnership. Scott said, “Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can’t wait for people to see what we have in store.”

McDonald’s has asked fans to keep an eye out for more surprises in the coming weeks.
