When New York-based photography duo Gus&Lo set out to capture twins, both in identical and complementary looks, they also embarked on a meditation of similarity and difference. The middle-parted subjects of the fashion story, whose fleeting resemblance changes from photo to photo, both mirror and modify each other’s expressions, color palettes, and mannerisms, becoming the ultimate celebration of uniformity, duality and individuality. In an eclectic mix of luxury mainstays like Louis Vuitton and Barcelona boutique favorite Maria Roch, the twins evoke comparison and contrast in equal measures.
