From the moment Tyla stepped (or shuffled) onto the 2024 Met Gala carpet in a custom made Balmain dress fastened entirely out of sand, V knew the budding starlet would go on to do great things. Her appointment as Pandora’s newest Brand Ambassador is just one of them, but the undeniably personal touch running through the collection is particularly reflective of the South African born singer.

For the jewelry brand’s latest campaign, Tyla, who is slated to make her performance debut at Coachella this April,has curated a selection of Pandora jewelry representative of her passions and inspirations. Titled ‘Pandora Styled by Tyla,’ the collection highlights a variety of meaningful symbols and milestones prevalent in the singer-songwriter’s life.

The Cherry Blossom Charm hints at her rise to international stardom following the release of her ‘Water’ music video (one that truly had all of us thirsting for more), and the Mini Shark Tooth Charm is a nod to more personal emblems, ones indicative of her heritage, music, and fanbase.

“It reminds me so much of home because my Mom always made jewelry, and the birthstone charms remind me of the beads I used to have laying around in my house growing up,” Tyla divulges in the collection notes. “Whenever our mother wanted us not to bother her, she’d give us a big container of beads and my sisters and I would make friendship bracelets all day. Now my Tygers can have matching friendship bracelets with me.”
