Designer Alexis Bittar is expanding his cinematic universe. Following the success of The Bittarverse, a satirical digital content series with cameos from Law Roach, Julia Garner, and others, Bittar introduces The Sexecutions of Amanda Gates

Co-directed by Bittar and acclaimed filmmaker Klimovski, the new series blends high fashion with the true crime genre. Uglyworldwide (Jazzelle) plays Amanda Gates, a “darkly glamorous yet deranged” killer who seeks out male serial offenders to dispose of. The mockumentary, composed of found footage-style clips, pushes the boundaries of fashion marketing.

“Traditional marketing approaches are dead. I wanted to alter what we expect from marketing and raise the bar,” Bittar told V in a statement. “I have created a storyline about a serial killer/vigilante. I am always intrigued by people who kill and I love to trace their own personal history and the trajectories that led them to become killers. Meet Amanda Gates… born in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, She is the most unlikely new fashion Icon.”

Both a Robinhood figure and unhinged criminal, Amanda’s complex characterization will unfold in weekly episodes spanning from December 11 through February. The series will provide a detailed look at her inner world.

“Amanda Gates for some, is your worst nightmare, and for others, a Hero. She is a woman’s darkest thought actualized. The fear she strikes in others isn’t just through her rage, but her poise, power, and confidence,” Uglyworldwide told V in a statement.

Klimovski is drawn to the character’s audacity. “My work often centers around women who break all the rules because bad girls tell the best stories,” the filmmaker told V in a statement.

In a thrilling combination of gore and couture, The Sexecutions of Amanda Gates progresses through mock interviews interspersed with spine-chilling reenactments. Viewers will hear from Amanda’s therapist (Jackie Hoffman), her best friend (Taryn Delanie Smith), her mother (Dianne Brill), and Lead Detective (Lisa Ferreira).

Spurred on by a societal fascination with the criminal mind, Bittar sought to deepen the impact of fashion marketing. With worldbuilding and cultural commentary, the brand appeals to its audience through layered narratives as opposed to exclusionary ones.

The official trailer for The Sexecutions of Amanda Gates was released today on Alexis Bittar’s social media.
