Last night, V Magazine and Dior Beauty came together to toast the launch of Dior’s new beauty bible and accompanying exhibition, The Art of Color, with an intimate dinner at Indochine in New York City. The fete was hosted by supermodel Bella Hadid, who was recently announced as a face and brand ambassador for Dior Beauty, and V's own Stephen Gan.

Among the evening’s honorees were Dior Makeup creative and image director Peter Philips and photographer Richard Burbridge, whose masterful collaborations are prominently celebrated in The Art of Color. There to toast them was an elite crew of legendary image-makers including Bruce Weber, Inez & Vinoodh, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Klein, and Lee Daniels, along with a mix of prominent models, musicians, and actors: Hailey Baldwin, Lexi Boling, Lineisy Montero, Lindsey Wixson, Chanel Iman, Nina Agdal, Hilary Rhoda, Jordan Barrett, A$AP Ferg, Maggie Rogers, Soko, Laura Harrier, and more.

The dinner came immediately following the unveiling of The Art of Color at Milk Studios in Chelsea. The two-story exhibition draws imagery from Dior’s recently released book, which closely examines the historic work of three of the brand’s makeup visionaries: Philips, Tyen, and Serge Lutens, who recently spoke with V about their iconic contributions.
