The baguette bag has been a revered fashion staple since its inception in 1997 along with the endless Sex and the City episodes that displayed Carrie with her mini Fendi bag in tow. The petite shoulder bag first blew onto the scene when Silvia Venturini Fendi set out to create the covetable and ever-so-iconic bag we now know today—and with the aid of Sex and the City, it’s rumored that 100,000 bags were sold in the first year.

Now that fashion is transfixed with the 2000s—and all the fashion that encompasses it—2017 marks the rebirth of the famed baguette bag. Click through to see the latest onslaught of the season’s best baguette bags.
