German-born, LA-based artist Kim Petras has just dropped her latest single “Broken”. The Heart To Break singer blends her trademark pop-princess, nostalgic hip-hop sound with flirty lyrics in this new track. In the past few years, she has been named “the next big thing in pop music” by Refinery29 and described as someone “currently waiting in the wings to ascend her throne as pop royalty” by NME.

Yet it’s debatable whether she is still considered “up and coming” due to her already impressive career history. She’s already opened for Troye Sivan on tour, is set to perform at Manchester Pride with other headliners including Ariana Grande and had a number one Spotify 50 hit with “I Don’t Want It All”.
