Justin Timberlake’s artist development project latest addition is singer-songwriter Ivory Layne. Although she signed to his label “Villa 40” in 2015, Ivory Layne has been working on her singles, some of which have been released this year like “Boy Loves Me” and “Heaven”. As of today, she has dropped “Me”, a vulnerable and emotional track (so much so that the Soundcloud image is of a princess-looking handheld mirror).

“‘Me’ is the most vulnerable song I’ve ever released. As an artist, it’s easy to morph self-belief into self-obsession. When I allow myself that indulgence, I miss out on the beauty of others and the wonder of being human,” the musician said in a statement. “I’ve found that I am at my loneliest when I am only focusing on myself. Life was not meant to be lived alone!”
