What does it mean to be a woman? Every year on March 8th, the world joins together in celebrating women. While it is trivial to subject this celebration to one day, it is a focal point in the movement of women’s rights that should be recognized. It is a day to reflect on the progress that has been made, which is a continuation of what’s yet to be done. However, such a broad question is troubling to answer due to the fact that womanliness looks different on everyone. Rather than trying to define what it means to be a woman, or falling in the trap of feminity, rejoice in the sense of individuality that adds to your unique definition.
