V Magazine US is thrilled to officially announce the appointment of Nicola Formichetti as Fashion Director-at-Large, Anna Trevelyan as Senior Fashion Editor, and Kevin Ponce as Editor for V. Stephen Gan remains as the publication’s Creative Director & Editor-in-Chief and Mathias Rosenzweig will remain the Digital Director.

With Trevelyan and Formichetti first contributing to the publication since the early 2000s and Ponce joining the team in 2019, the editors have each gone on to play a pivotal role in further establishing the magazine’s long-standing ethos of fusing the colorful world of pop culture and high fashion. Packing the publication’s pages with viral fashion imagery and in-depth profiles over the years, their first print issue under their joint leadership begins with the publication’s forthcoming V153 Spring 2025 (March/April) issue, hitting global newsstands beginning March 7th.
NICOLA FORMICHETTI

Nicola Formichetti is a Japanese & Italian creative director, fashion director, and designer based between New York and Los Angeles. As one of the most acclaimed creatives of our generation, Nicola has worked as a creative director for major global brands including Diesel, Mugler, Uniqlo, Muji, (including his own line, Nicopanda) and created iconic pop culture moments—including his long-standing creative collaboration with pop music and fashion icon Lady Gaga—and has further worked with global talents from the likes of Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendez, Maluma, Bad Bunny, LISA, and more. Having grown up between Asia and Europe, his diverse background profoundly influences his creative approach, setting him apart as a truly one-of-a-kind talent who continues to innovate with his interest in technology and digital fashion.
ANNA TREVELYAN

Anna Trevelyan is a British creative director, fashion stylist, and consultant based between New York, London, and Los Angeles, having worked with talents on a global scale including the likes of Rihanna, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Alicia Keys, Tyla, Halle Bailey, Kendall & Kylie Jenner, and Bella Hadid. With an extensive portfolio spanning top publications such as Elle US, Harper’s Bazaar US, VMAN, V China, Vogue Japan, 10 Magazine, & GQ, Anna has utilized her empowering and unabashed approach to style with a forward outlook on creating a more multi-disciplinary future within the fashion & beauty industries. Collaborating with famed photographers such as Nick Knight, Sølve Sundsbø, and David LaChapelle on their projects over the years, Anna has simultaneously guided a multitude of global brands she works with on their collections and campaigns to reflect their market needs. As she steps into this new role, Anna’s distinctive vision will drive V Magazine into an era of even bolder storytelling, inspiring the next wave of fashion, beauty, and artistic expression.
KEVIN PONCE

Kevin Ponce is an American editor and writer born and based in New York. As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, she first joined the publication in 2019, going on to become the first woman to lead the social division of V Magazine and VMAN and become the lead editor in the launch of the gen-Z focused magazine, GEN V. Nearly six years under her belt at the magazine, she has collaborated with longtime contributors to the publication such as Inez & Vinoodh, Richard Burbridge, Steven Klein, and contributed to a range of special projects for the publication in partnership with fashion houses including CHANEL, Dior, Moncler, Montblanc, and more, and was pivotal in putting together the much talked about “V IS FOR VOTE” series that mobilized celebrities and readers to vote in the US elections. Concentrating on bringing Latinx and Transgender voices to a new level within the scope of fashion and beauty, her work has appeared in VMAN, Spanish V, C☆ndy Transversal, Mission Magazine, L’Officiel USA, & more. She will oversee all print and digital editorial content for the publication.
