DOLCE&GABBANA’S “FROM THE HEART TO THE HANDS” EXHIBITION LANDS IN MIAMI

After its overwhelming success, Dolce&Gabbana’s From the Heart to the Hands is headed south this season for a bit of sun. Following sold-out runs in Milan, Paris, and Rome, the exhibition will open at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami on February 6. This marks the first time the exhibition is shown in the U.S., a natural progression for a project that treats fashion as more than just clothes. Curated by Florence Müller and staged by Agence Galuchat, the exhibition has been reimagined specifically for ICA Miami’s expanded home. The museum’s architecture flows with the narrative, framing Dolce&Gabbana’s world as part of ours rather than a disjointed nostalgic memory. More than 300 pieces from the archive and newer collections are featured, tracing how ideas were formed and evolved into collections through the minds of founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana—moving concepts “from the heart to the hands.” With distinctly Italian theatricality, the immersive rooms allow viewers to experience multiple levels of drama, each highlighting different facets of the brand’s DNA through a contemporary lens. The exhibition also features visual works by artists Quayola, Alberto Maria Colombo, Obvious, Vittorio Bonapace, and Felice Limosani, expanding the show into a broader conversation with art and culture beyond fashion history.

From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana will be on view from February 6 to June 14, 2026, at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami. miami.dolcegabbanaexhibition.com

“ONE-OFF” PEELS BACK THE CURTAIN ON HELMUT NEWTON’S VISION

In 1999, Helmut Newton, alongside collaborator Gert Elfering, created a one-off, single photo album featuring unique Polaroids, gelatin silver, and chromogenic prints of fashion throughout the years, annotated by Newton himself. Twenty-seven years later, the once-private album has been revealed and recreated in perfect detail for the world to enjoy. Titled Helmut Newton: One-off, the stunning reproduction by Phaidon of the original facsimile features never-before-seen images while preserving the size and annotations Newton initially laid out. Alongside the untouched work, the book also includes a foreword by photography expert Philippe Garner and an exclusive interview between Matthias Harder (Senior Curator and Director of the Helmut Newton Foundation) and Elfering. As one of the greatest fashion photographers of all time—whose work tapped into the realms of film noir, expressionist cinema, and surrealism—One-off serves as the ultimate look into how Newton crafted the world around him and the legacy he left behind.

Helmut Newton: One-off is available beginning February 18, 2026, on phaidon.com.

TRACEY EMIN’S LIFE, LAID BARE AT TATE MODERN

This spring, Tate Modern is setting a new record as the gallery hosts its largest survey exhibition ever, celebrating the uncompromising work of Tracey Emin. One of the most prominent and emotionally candid contemporary artists of our time, Emin first catapulted into the public eye with her landmark work My Bed, a raw and introspective self-portrait that transformed a deeply personal domestic scene into art. Since then, she has continued to create work that brings that same level of intimacy into the public realm.

Titled A Second Life, the landmark exhibition traces nearly 40 years of Emin’s life and groundbreaking career, moving through early works from her first-ever exhibition to never-before-seen pieces that explore the female body. Told through a wide range of materials—textile, video, photography, painting, sculpture, and installation—the show examines the body as a site of passion, pain, desire, and the long, uneven process of healing. At its core, the exhibition celebrates Emin’s raw approach to love and trauma, making the presentation deeply autobiographical.

With her work long blurring the line between art and autobiography, A Second Life brings the two into sharp focus. Tracey Emin: A Second Life is on view from February 26 to August 31, 2026, at Tate Modern in London.
