Tour de Force: On the Road With Bad Gyal for the ‘Más Cara’ World Tour

The Catalan singer’s ‘Más Cara’ World Tour is the biggest run of her career. V got a front-row seat to watch it unfold
Nearly a decade after first breaking through with her Slow Wine Mixtape, Alba Farelo—better known by her stage name Bad Gyal—enters her biggest era yet with Más Cara, her sophomore album and most expansive project to date. The Más Cara World Tour builds on the foundation established by her debut album, La Joia, with even more baddie energy. Bad Gyal now expands her signature fusion of dancehall, reggaetón, and electronic music across a 19-track set packed with festival-sized energy and high-profile collaborations, including Ozuna, Chencho Corleone, De La Rose, and J Alvarez.
Following a successful run of dates across Spain— and including a surprise appearance alongside Bad Bunny during his Barcelona stadium stop — the 29-year-old artist is bringing the Más Cara World Tour to audiences around the globe. After this weekend’s stop at Primavera Sound Barcelona on June 4, the tour will continue through Europe before heading to Latin America and the United States later this year.
In May, she expanded the tour with 15 additional dates, adding stops in cities including Buenos Aires, Santiago, Bogotá, Mexico City, Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. The newly announced run marks the largest international tour of her career, transforming Más Cara from an album era into a global moment. The album debuted at No. 3 on Spotify’s Top Album Debut Global chart and has already amassed more than 9 million streams worldwide. Before the tour resumes its worldwide journey, V joined the singer on the Spanish leg of the run, offering an exclusive look behind the scenes.
