V Premiere: “Low” Video by The Driver Era

V premieres the music video for the infecting single “Low” by The Driver Era, which follows the brothers on a daring bank heist.

It’s hard to make much of an impression with only five singles on the Spotify, but rising pop-duo The Driver Era has done just that. Ross and Rocky Lynch, the brothers behind the music, premiere their music video for their addictive single “Low” on V.

The Driver Era creates what feels like an effortless blend of soul and pop – layering bubbly, auto-tuned quips over a steady groove. The song was written and produced by Rocky while brother Ross was in Vancouver attending to his other job – acting as Harvey in Netflix’s “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” With ample acting skills under his belt, it’s no surprise that the music video for “Low” was nothing short of captivating.

The video opens with the brothers throwing their bags in the trunk of their car for what seems to be a normal trip until they put on skull masks – as makeshift balaclavas – and blue rubber gloves. Seconds later, the casual drive turns into a chaotic, high adrenaline bank heist. The song, simple and unrushed, stands out against the disarray of the video, creating a scene that’s hard to ignore.

The Driver Era will release their debut album on June 28th. See the full video for “Low” below.
