Today marks the second season premiere of V WANNA KNOW, a podcast by V Magazine. Joining us as our first guest this time around is none other than Tinashe, the singer and general pop music/R&B/futurist queen, who wanted to dig her teeth into the metaverse.

The term metaverse originated from a 1992 “cyberpunk dystopia” novel—apparently, that is a thing—called Snow Crash. It’s since become a reality that will only continue to grow in presence.

Our expert on the metaverse is Lindsey McInerney, a futurist who’s been exploring the intersection of emerging technologies and how they’ll come to life.
