Couture Gets Real With Nathaniel Goldberg

The next gen’s ultimate cool girl, Quinn Mora brings downtown edge to our favorite couture looks of the season

What is couture during COVID-19? For V Magazine’s May issue, our fashion director Gro Curtis dresses model Quinn Mora, and explores the idea of re-introducing glamorous garments in the pandemic era. From a vintage beanie paired with an iconic Chanel jacket to a thrifted plaid shirt over an Iris Van Herpen dress, unexpected couplings make for make for a matches made in heaven.

“Reality doesn’t necessarily mean removing fantasy. Reality can be fun when tweaked and played with,” notes Curtis. “Couture has to live on and will live on. It’s DNA of fashion. We just have to find how to incorporate magical creations into our lives.”
