A wise woman once said, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag.” With the spring 2025 collections allowing women everywhere to explore all facets of their being, V invited ten timeless beauties, both familiar and first encounters, to come as they are and allow themselves to transform—proving that our door will always be open for new classics to shine through.

Below, we asked each cover girl about timelessness, beautiful people, and the idea of perfection.

V MAGAZINE: What do you consider to be timeless?

AMELIA GRAY: Kindness!

V: What was the spark that first made you want to be a model?

AG: I’ve wanted to be a model since I was 5 years old. I think Cindy Crawford was my spark.

V: If you could only choose one item in your closet, what would you say is your most precious heirloom?

AG: That’s the hardest question anybody has ever asked me! Hmmm… I love my olive baggy jeans and probably my OG vintage Louis Vuitton Murakami bag. My mom gave it to me when I was 8.

V: What everlasting fashion history moment/memory burns the brightest in your mind?

AG: Either the Balenciaga mud show, or my first Chanel show in LA. Ugh, it’s hard to pick! I love everything so much.

V: In the fast paced world of fashion, what is one thing you think will always be in demand (regardless of trends)?

AG: Probably the Balenciaga city bag. Tested and true.

V: What makes a person beautiful?

AG: I think beauty is all about energy. If you’re kind and have good energy then I think you’re beautiful!

V: Who do you consider to be the most beautiful person you know or admire?

AG: My mom! She is the most beautiful person inside and out. I’m so lucky to have a role model like her.

V: Do you put much thought into creating the “perfect” look when getting dressed for the day? What do you feel most beautiful in?

AG: You know, I’m a girl who very much appreciates comfort. I feel the most beautiful in my baggy jeans, a tank top, a big jacket, and some sneakers!
