A wise woman once said, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag.” With the spring 2025 collections allowing women everywhere to explore all facets of their being, V invited ten timeless beauties, both familiar and first encounters, to come as they are and allow themselves to transform—proving that our door will always be open for new classics to shine through.
Below, we asked each cover girl about timelessness, beautiful people, and the idea of perfection.

V MAGAZINE: What do you consider to be timeless?
EVA HERZIGOVA: Feelings. Art. Poetry. Books. Not to be afraid to express feelings in something creative. It doesn’t have to become public domain right away. On the contrary, keep it for yourself.
V: What was the spark that first made you want to be a model?
EH: Photography [made me want to be a model]. Working with the masters. Transformation and role-play. Storytelling at its best!

V: If you could only choose one item in your closet, what would you say is your most precious heirloom?
EH: That’s a hard one. Maybe I’d choose something that meant a lot to me at the time. I used to pass in front of a Hermés shop almost every day when I lived in Paris. I dreamed of owning a shirt I saw in the window. It was a transparent printed silk blouse. I remember the day I went and bought it with some of the first money I made. I hardly wore it, but I still have it. I felt so elegant, that I was able to invest in such craftsmanship.
V: What everlasting fashion history moment/memory burns the brightest in your mind?
EH: 1998—The Butcher story styled by Carine Roitfeld and shot by Mario Testino. That story was a new turn in my career. I felt like I was finally becoming true to who I am. It was raw and vulnerable.
V: In the fast paced world of fashion, what is one thing you think will always be in demand (regardless of trends)?
EH: A pair of great sunglasses and a red lipstick, great hair, and a perfect white t-shirt with a great pair of trousers. Comfy shoes!
V: What makes a person beautiful?
EH: Living with reverence for yourself and others.
V: Who do you consider to be the most beautiful person you know or admire?
EH: My mom, definitely! She is just the sweetest, most selfless, and giving human being.
V: Do you put much thought into creating the “perfect” look when getting dressed for the day? What do you feel most beautiful in?
EH: I do care. I match how my body feels every day. I feel beautiful when I have slept well.
