A wise woman once said, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag.” With the spring 2025 collections allowing women everywhere to explore all facets of their being, V invited ten timeless beauties, both familiar and first encounters, to come as they are and allow themselves to transform—proving that our door will always be open for new classics to shine through.
Below, we asked each cover girl about timelessness, beautiful people, and the idea of perfection.

V MAGAZINE: What do you consider to be timeless?
FR: Big Sur, CA. It’s my timeless vortex.
V: What was the spark that first made you want to be a model?
FR: I grew up in a small town of 7,000 people in Wisconsin, and high school never felt like [modeling] was for me. College wasn’t something I seriously considered either. I always had this feeling that there was more out there for me. I got scouted my sophomore year of high school, took a trip to NY, and never turned back.
V: If you could only choose one item in your closet, what would you say is your most precious heirloom?
FR: It would have to be my collection of Chanel bags that Karl gave me over the years.
V: What everlasting fashion history moment burns the brightest in your mind?
FR: One of my favorite memories is during my first Chanel fitting when I was just 17. Whatever they gave me wasn’t fitting right, and the stylist was being incredibly harsh. Kristen McMenamy, who didn’t even know me at the time, was in the room. She came over, tore into him, and said, “She’s just a child, don’t speak to her like that. Find something that fits her properly.” It was such a protective and empowering moment.

V: In the fast-paced world of fashion, what is one thing you think will always be in demand, regardless of trends?
FR: A great personality. People who are fun, kind, and engaging will always stand out. Being approachable and lively will never go out of style.
V: What makes a person beautiful?
FR: The most beautiful people I know are kind, happy, and generous. They don’t take themselves too seriously and bring joy to those around them. It’s that warmth and light that makes someone truly beautiful.
V: Who do you consider to be the most beautiful person you know or admire?
FR: My daughter, Sunny. She’s just pure love. She’s a teenager, exploring the world with such bravery and heart. She’s funny, fearless, and follows her intuition. I admire her so much.
V: Do you put much thought into creating the “perfect” look when getting dressed for the day? What do you feel most beautiful in?
FR: Honestly, no. I stick to my uniform. I’m always in old Levi’s, Chanel ballet flats or Gucci loafers, a vintage top, a Chanel bag, and some diamonds.
