A wise woman once said, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag.” With the spring 2025 collections allowing women everywhere to explore all facets of their being, V invited ten timeless beauties, both familiar and first encounters, to come as they are and allow themselves to transform—proving that our door will always be open for new classics to shine through.
Below, we asked each cover girl about timelessness, beautiful people, and the idea of perfection.

V MAGAZINE: What do you consider to be timeless?
LARA STONE: Finding beauty in nature.
V: What was the spark that first made you want to be a model?
LS: There wasn’t exactly a spark—it just kind of happened. It was a series of coincidences, along with a lot of luck. It’s strange how life’s direction can change so suddenly and unexpectedly.
V: If you could only choose one item in your closet, what would you say is your most precious heirloom?
LS: My wedding dress, which was made by my sister-in-law.
V: What everlasting fashion history moment/memory burns the brightest in your mind?
LS: Gosh, there are so many wonderful memories. But the most significant one must be meeting Riccardo and Carine at that Givenchy couture casting. At the time, I didn’t think much of it since I had been to thousands of unsuccessful castings. I distinctly remember the moment I was confirmed for the show—it felt like a pivotal moment in my life.
V: In the fast-paced world of fashion, what is one thing you think will always be in demand (regardless of trends)?
LS: A little black dress, of course!
V: What makes a person beautiful?
LS: People who are brave enough to be their true selves and stand up for what they believe in, even when it’s tough.
V: Who do you consider to be the most beautiful person you know or admire?
LS: My children, without a doubt.
V: Do you put much thought into creating the “perfect” look when getting dressed for the day? What do you feel most beautiful in?
LS: I’ve always been more of a practical dresser, so I wouldn’t say I aim for the “perfect” look. I feel most beautiful when I’m comfortable, which for me often means jeans, trainers, and a T-shirt.
