V161: Fall Head Over Heels with Noor Khan

As autumn breezes in, V are turning over a new leaf with the world’s most exciting models of the moment, whose fearless style inspires us for the season ahead
Swedish and Pakistani beauty Noor Khan, who has charmed designers with her signature androgyny, started as an in-demand exclusive. Since then, her runway and editorial credits have only skyrocketed, making her one of the industry’s brightest new stars.

V: How do you think modeling will change moving forward?
Noor Khan: Though I don’t know exactly how things will progress, I hope that going forward, the industry continues to invest in the character of models. I think it transforms our role from exclusively being physical vessels for art to having more of an impact on the energy of the image.

V: What do you want people to know about modeling that you don’t think they do?
NK: Sometimes the dress is scarier than the shoes when it comes to runway mishaps.

V: What does growth mean to you as a person and as a model?
NK: I think growth in my life, and especially in this career, has been the process of learning to adapt to new environments and conditions whilst preserving my sense of self. For me, finding different anchors I can rely on to ground me when I’m in constant motion is crucial.
