Vacheron Constantin Unveils Limited Edition Moon Phase Spring Blossom Watch

Pink mother-of-pearl, hand-painted blossoms, and moonstone usher in a new season.
Spring has sprung at Vacheron Constantin! The Swiss maison has unveiled its new Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom watch. Set in 18K 5N pink gold with a mother-of-pearl dial and hand-painted blossom strap, the model represents both unabashed femininity and the arrival of a joyful new season. The collection is limited to 100 pieces.

“When conceiving the feminine Égérie collection, Vacheron Constantin took the world of Haute Couture as its inspiration, celebrating the craftsmanship, know-how and rarity, as well as the passion and creativity that it shares with Haute Horlogerie,” the maison said in a statement.

The beading, scalloped lace, and swirling shapes of Haute Couture gowns informed the watch’s varying textures, visible in its interchangeable straps and pleated dial centre. Two alternatives have been released with the signature spring blossom strap—one in raspberry pink shiny alligator, and the other in blush-pink grosgrain fabric. Flowers have acted as inspiration for the maison since the early 19th century, when the case of a 1815 yellow gold pocket watch was engraved with a delicate floral motif.

Soft pinks, painted blossoms, and moonstone contribute a sense of natural artistry to the timepiece. A circle of diamonds also sits between 1 and 3 o’clock. Tonal variations in the mother-of-pearl and hand-painting allow for subtle variations in each of the 100 numbered watches.
