Once upon a time, Studio 54 was the place to be, icons only, of course. From its opening in 1977, the Midtown Manhattan nightclub quickly became the epicenter of nightlife, where celebrities, designers, and tastemakers collided under one glittering disco ball. This season, Valentino Beauty brought that myth back to life, restoring its glamour for one unforgettable night and reasserting New York Fashion Week’s place at the center of style.
The highlight of the night was the launch of the Born in Roma 2025 Rendez-Vous Ivory Collection, fragrances in gold and ivory bottles. Born in Roma Donna mixed orange blossom and vanilla with a touch of marshmallow, while Born in Roma Uomo combined fresh bergamot and lavandin with a smoky fireplace accord.

No one embodied that full-circle moment more than Cher, whose original nights helped shape the legend, and who returned decades later to headline an elite guest list. She was joined by Maripol, Pat Cleveland, FKA Twigs, Tessa Thompson, Lenny Kravitz, Lourdes Leon, Adut Akech, Nana, and newly appointed Valentino Beauty Brand Ambassador Colman Domingo, a cast that blended icons past and present, just as the dance floor once did.
The V team was there to take it all in as Violet Chachki soared through the air, roller skaters glided past in sequins, cigarette girls drifted through the crowd, while Nicky Siano, Honey Dijon, and The Dare spun a soundtrack worthy of fashion’s wildest muse, Studio 54.
