Valentino Celebrates The Party Collection at Art Basel
A private party and installation at The Rubell Museum kicked off in Miami this week, with A-list guests in attendance.
For friends of Valentino, every day is meant for a Party.
Maison Valentino celebrates a return to festivity with The Party Collection at The Rubell Museum in Miami during Art Basel, with friends of the house—including Camila Coelho, Winston Duke, Blaise French, Blake Gray, Giani Lee and Monica Ahanonu—in attendance at the installation, serenaded with a set by DJ Zack Bia.
In the Rubell garden and gallery spaces, The Party Collection was on exhibit and available to view with private appointments during Art Basel, intertwining the creative spirit of the famous Miami Beach program with the ingenious design and craftsmanship of the house.
The installation marks the second chapter of Valentino at The Rubell Museum, and the sophomore display of The Party Collection in North America, following up New York City’s immersive exhibit at Fotograkiska in November.
Following the installation at The Rubell Museum, a cocktail hour was hosted by Valentino, with guests including Lori Harvey, Kitty Cash, Jordan Barrett and 24kGoldn present, plus a private lunch at Strawberry Moon at The Goodtime Hotel.
The Party Collection is for the moment, for the future. A return to togetherness and to wholeness, Valentino recreates a house party in Miami for the collection, imbuing it with the lost spirit of being together, being joyful. Guests took the invite with the excitement of coming back alive: in silver ribbons, evening dresses, fine garments, feather and tweed, The Party Collection was a place for all to shine.
