In the final stretch of the SS19 fashion month no collection seems to bloom quite as brightly and more elegantly than that of Pierpaolo Piccioli's Valentino presentation. Starting with a lineup of entirely black ensembles, Piccioli sets the tone for the approaching spring/summer months with an extensive range of graceful edge and form that uses shape and expression to compliment the blossoming wit and attitude of the season.
A fabulously glamorous parade follows as prints, pleats, and perfectly waisted creations follow in perfect order, flowing just as sophisticated an elevated as the one before. With faces like Anok, Adut, Saskia, Kaia, and a opening strut by Kristen McMenamy, Piccioli has the pleasure for designing attire for a wide spectrum of colors, energies, and shapes of the modern woman. Playing with length and necklines, Piccioli's SS19 collection uses linear surprises and stimulation feeding the ever wandering eye to details both high and low.
Closing out the collection with eight perfect examples of evening wear suitable for a formal or elevated affair, Pierpaolo Piccioli's vision shines bright as each distinctly invented and precisely detailed silhouette makes it way down the runway, extracting audible "ooh(s)" and "ahh(s)" from onlookers taking in all of the seasoned chic pieces.
