Vans “Foot The Bill” Initiative Keeping Skate Shops Afloat

Stay “Off The Wall” by helping small businesses.

As small businesses around the country suffer from the policies surrounding COVID-19, Vans kickstarted “Foot The Bill,” where they’ve teamed up with local and community-driven skate shops, restaurants, art galleries, and music venues across the States to support them through custom-designed Vans footwear. The net proceeds from the shoes will then go directly to their small business partners.

“We know how important small businesses are: We were one. You helped us become what we are, and we want to help our community and extended members of our Vans Family during this difficult time,” reads the initiative’s website.

Aiming to keep the businesses that make a community what it is alive and well, Vans committed to providing proceeds to at least 80 businesses and will sell up to 500 pairs per partner. The shoes incorporate their accompanied partner’s logo in their design and come in one style, the classic Slip On, with a price tag starting at $90. Each partner shares their story, plans for how they’ll spend the money, and their inspiration.

Check out the “Foot The Bill” kicks here, and consider helping out one of your local businesses partnered with Vans or one that stands out to you the most all while improving your WFH shoe game. Vans will continue to add more businesses to the list, so make sure to stay tuned.
