Veja and Marni Unite For First Collaboration

The two eclectic brands offer two styles in a new capsule collection

The French footwear brand Veja has partnered with luxury Fashion house, Marni. Veja, who specializes in the transparency of producing ethically sourced sneakers, has launched a collaboration with the Italian luxury brand is launching a capsule that includes two styles: Veja’s V-10 and the new style of the hightop V15.

The sneakers are interpretations of Marni’s unconventional approach to fashion while utilizing Veja’s commitment to paying great attention to production standards. Playful and spontaneous, the silhouettes of each sneaker are covered in colorful scribbles in various color combinations on the upper of the shoe – giving a DIY-tailored look.

The low top model V-10 will be available in color Marsala including other warm tones such as orange, while the V-15 high top will have Black with traces of blue and yellow.

Veja isn’t new to collaborating with luxury fashion houses to create sustainable sneakers – partnering with Rick Owens and Lemaire over the last two years.

The sneakers uphold Veja’s ethical approach to footwear, made of leather sourced from Uruguay while reducing water waste during the tanning process at a Gold-certified tannery in Brazil. The soles are constructed from 31% Amazonian rubber, 22% rice waste, and 12% recycled rubber.

The Veja x Marni collaboration is currently available for pre-order on Veja’s and Marni’s official websites, the V-10 retailing for $270, and the V-15 for $320. From March 11th, the sneakers will be available at select retailers – including the labels’ flagship stores.
