At Radicepura, the botanical park on the slopes of Mount Etna, Dolce&Gabbana presented an Alta Moda collection inspired by mythology, nature, and Sicilian tradition. For Dolce&Gabbana, Sicily has always been a source of symbolism, where flowers, religious processions, and local traditions shape the house’s visual language. This collection explored that heritage through two contrasting figures: the goddesses, representing fantasy and beauty, and the devotees, representing faith, ritual, and everyday devotion.

The opening looks embraced a soft, romantic palette of pastel tones, layered tulle, and delicate floral embellishment. Voluminous silhouettes, rich textures, and fluid movement created an ethereal mood, while fur, embroidery, and intricate detailing reinforced the craftsmanship behind each look.

As the collection progressed, the mood became richer and more ceremonial. Velvet, ornate jewelry, and gilded accessories introduced a sense of grandeur, drawing on references to Sicilian churches, religious iconography, and traditional craftsmanship. The result felt opulent but deeply rooted in the house’s heritage.

Flowers remained the defining motif throughout the show. Some appeared as delicate embroidery, while others became sculptural elements that transformed garments into dramatic floral compositions. The collection balanced theatrical silhouettes with meticulous craftsmanship, demonstrating Dolce&Gabbana’s longstanding fascination with romance and ornamentation.

The second half of the collection shifted towards darker tones, with black lace, veils, textured fabrics, and religious-inspired accessories recalling traditional Sicilian dress. These looks offered a more restrained form of elegance, where devotion and femininity were expressed through craftsmanship. Similarly, religious and mythological references continued throughout the collection, culminating in a series of looks inspired by the Garden of Eden.
