On Thursday, September 11, stylist and designer Veneda Carter marked a new chapter in her career with an intimate dinner at Zimmi’s to celebrate the launch of her ready-to-wear line. Guests included G Herbo, Sandra Shehab, Anaa Saber, Jordan Daniels, Brenda Weischer, Brittany Byrd, Carolina Mendes, Danielle Guizio, Drumaq, Kehaulani Sanares, and Taina W, among others.
The collection introduces a wardrobe that carries Carter’s signature balance of refinement and ease. Influenced by her Polish and Danish heritage and shaped by years living in New York and Los Angeles, she brings a cross-cultural perspective that favors clean tailoring, quality fabrics, and silhouettes designed to move fluidly between day and evening, casual and formal.

Before stepping into design, Carter had already established herself as one of fashion’s most influential stylists. Born in Copenhagen to Polish parents, she was scouted as a teenager but quickly grew disillusioned with modeling’s rigid standards. She instead developed her own visual language drawing from 90s fashion and Danish minimalism. That sensibility caught the attention of Kanye West, who invited her to Los Angeles in 2016 to join the Yeezy team. There she sharpened her eye for proportion and palette, eventually expanding into styling work and directing projects with brands like Stüssy and Nike.
By the time she launched her eponymous label in 2022, Veneda was already recognized as a pioneer of contemporary celebrity style, an experience that shaped the foundation of her brand. She debuted with a jewelry line of textured sterling silver, 18k gold vermeil, and jewel-embellished pieces that quickly drew industry attention, and her ready-to-wear line evolves that vision into a broader wardrobe with versatile, gender-neutral designs inspired by her cross-cultural aesthetic, now available at venedacarter.com and select retailers nationwide.
