Versace’s newest collection lives in an aquatic world. Drifting between ancient seas and modern streets, the House returns to its mythological roots with a collection that shimmer just as sunlit waves while moving like beached sea foam caught in the wind.

The ocean is more than inspiration this season – it’s a language. The elements of the beach and its dress codes are reworked, transitioning from “sea to land or shore to city.” Draped swimsuits become Grecian corseted dresses, safety pins fasten silky fabrics, and blousons gleam with the memory of wet skin. Men’s twinsets nod to lounging by the sea, while tailored gilets and sarongs echo sailor and siren. Versace’s iconic Trésors de la Mer print is reborn in neon corals, underwater Medusas, and baroque souvenir graphics, blending the antiques with the fantastical. Surfaces of garments are meant to represent the coast and the ocean. Aquatic crystals, beads, and sequin embroideries tie in themes of treasure washing ashore.

But the soul of La Vacanza lies in its storytelling. Through Zoë Ghertner’s lens, we not only see a campaign but a portal: seaside scenes that feel like lost frescoes, interiors that mimic the stillness of poolside afternoons. This is mythology dressed for the present.
The collection’s beauty is more than skin-deep. In partnership with Coral Gardeners, Versace is adopting 9,000 coral fragments to help restore French Polynesia’s reefs. Each purchase in June becomes a promise – a small but vital act for preservation. Versace has rewritten fashion as not solely a vessel for self-expression, but also change.

La Vacanza 2025 is a siren call to ocean-lovers and those longing for summer and longer days. A celebration of sensuality and sustainability transforms into tangible iterations found within this collection’s garments. It’s Versace at its most elemental – where silk meets salt, and every hemline carries a ripple of the sea.
