Vetements has never been a brand to follow rules and norms set by the fashion world, which is why the announcement that the French brand would retire from the runway in favor of eye-catching presentations wasn’t that shocking. But today’s news shows that we should never count the brand out of the game, as Vetements will return to the runway for the FW18 season.

Demna Gvasalia and company will show their Fall 2018 collection on January 19, during Men's Fashion Week in Paris, in what's just the latest of their schedule changes. The brand previously ditched the typical womenswear Fashion Week cycle and joined the Couture schedule for its Spring and Fall shows, before forgoing the runway altogether for the SS18 collection. For that go-around, Gvasalia asked Zurich residents to don pieces from the range and photographed their antics on the streets to create one of the most intriguing lookbooks of the season.
