Victoria Beckham Is Spicing Up Our Lives By Launching Victoria Beckham Beauty

The British fashion and music icon throws her hat into the beauty ring.

Hold on NYFW—we have a new obsession to discuss.

In the midst of New York Fashion Week madness the queen of chic modern style herself, Victoria Beckham, dropped her very own beauty line this past Saturday. Victoria Beckham Beauty is a line that relies on the basis of clean, luxurious and sustainable makeup. The line is described as, “a clean beauty movement for a life in motion,” and is aimed at hard-working women and men who are new-age environmentally friendly and always on the go.

Beckham partnered up with Sarah Creal, a product developer who left her job behind to take on the new task of becoming cofounder of Victoria Beckham Beauty. Creal told Vogue that she just, “believed in her [Beckham], in her vision.”

On the site itself, Victoria Beckham Beauty possesses a unique “formulation philosophy,” which includes subject lines such as safety, transparency, education, inclusivity, and cruelty-free. While this philosophy will definitely appeal to the masses, Beckham’s main focus for her line is sustainability. On her site, Beckham states, “We are focused on making the most sustainable choices for our products and shipping materials. Wherever possible, we use post-consumer and recycled materials and minimal plastic. However, we believe we can do better. We are actively engaging resources to incorporate even more post-consumer materials, ocean-bound plastic, and refillable packaging into production. We perfect, but we are committed to partnering with industry leaders in science, technology, and sustainability to set better cleaner, and more ethical standards across beauty-consumer materials, ocean-bound plastic, and refillable packaging into production. We aren’t perfect, but we are committed to partnering with industry leaders in science, technology and sustainability to set better, cleaner, and more ethical standards across beauty.” Under her explanation, Beckham even includes a recycling guide.

The make-up products themselves seem to solely focus on the eyes as of right now, with her site promising lips and skin to be coming soon. Her collection includes four small eyeshadow palettes or every eye color. Beckham also included gorgeous Lid Lustres, in colors: Onyx, Blonde, Mink and Midnight, us a perfect amount of shimmer, adding some life to the clean looks. Lastly, the collection includes our go-to product: Satin Kajal Liner. Coming in three different shades, this liner is guaranteed to apply smoothly and last all day.

We can’t wait to see what products launch next.
