Over four days at their Madison Avenue flagship, Marc Jacobs offered a new kind of freebie: fresh ink by celebrity tattooist Scott Campbell. Besides the lifelong permanence, these tattoos came with a catch. Participants, chosen via lotto wheel and separated from Campbell by a partition, wouldn’t know their design until the deed was done. Captured by videographer Lukas Chmiel, the activation-meets-social experiment—aptly dubbed “Whole Glory”—is bound to leave an impression.
