Virgil Abloh and Theophilus London Collab with Off White™’s Latest Collection
Off-White™ c/o Theophilus London showcases London’s signature style.
Virgil Abloh collaborates with Trinidadian-American rapper Theophilus London in Off-White™’s latest collection, Off-White™ c/o Theophilus London to celebrate London’s latest studio album, Bebey.
Featuring five signature pieces including a T-shirt, fleece hoodie, bucket hat, tracksuit and pair of denim jeans, each piece showcases album artwork and motifs from Bebey.
The t-shirt, hoodie and bucket hat each showcase a “human bust,” which is also shown on London’s album cover, set affront Off-White™’s ever-recognizable logo.
The tracksuit, adorned with red piping on the sides and “bebey” sprawled in yellow cursive on the back of the jacket has matching wide-fit track pants to match, complete with a side zip for customizable style.
Finally, the jeans, which come in a classic deep indigo color, are emblazoned with a cursive “bebey” above one knee and London’s Bebey cover art on the back ankle cuff.
Citing their friendship and mutual creative abilities for the reason of this collaboration, Abloh and London are not only long-term friends, but long-term creative collaborators, also having worked together in 2014 for when Abloh art-directed London’s album, “Vibes.”
Aiming to debut a glimpse into London’s personal style, the collection shows that these looks can take you from place to place, while still keeping your style fresh and unique, just like London’s.
Bebey is co-produced by London and Tame Impala and pays homage to London’s birthplace of Trinidad and Tobago. As London and Abloh continue to collaborate, only greater things are still expected to come.
