VMAN EXCLUSIVE: Branko’s Sónar Lisboa Photo Diary
Take an exclusive look into the world of Branko as he captures highlights from this year’s Sónar City Festival in Lisbon.
Portuguese DJ and producer Branko has undoubtedly made a name for himself as a world-renowned figure within the EDM scene since his first LP, Atlas, in 2015. He first emerged and became recognized with Buraka Som Siesta, a former group whose artistry merged kuduro, “an Angolan dance music style,” with that of EDM. Branko has collaborated with and produced for the likes of Princess Nokia, M.I.A, and more. His latest album, OBG, is out now, with a release under his record label Enchufada.
Now, VMAN has an exclusive glimpse into Branko’s world. This time at Sónar, a city festival that made its premiere in Lisbon earlier this month and will return next year starting on March 31st through April 2nd. The gathering, which fuses advanced music, technology, and creativity, saw 27,000 attendees and a diverse lineup of EDM artists and beyond, showcasing their talents to the world.
