HUNTER DOOHAN: Fort Smith, Arkansas

VMAN: Zodiac Sign?

HD: Capricorn.

VMAN: What made you decide that you wanted to be an actor?

HD: Getting involved in theater in high school. I’m so grateful for my high school theater department and the local community theaters. I had always loved film and TV but never even imagined it could be something I could pursue while growing up in Arkansas.

VMAN: How do you relate to the character you most recently portrayed?

HD: I can’t speak too much about my character in Evil Dead Burn yet… But I always find ways to relate to my characters. Sometimes that’s trickier when they are literal monsters but that’s the fun of all this.

VMAN: Outside of acting, what are you passionate about?

HD: Spending time with the people I love. Donating time and money to causes I care about like the ALS Network and organizations standing up to ICE. Trying to create my own projects.

VMAN: How would you describe your style?

HD: Oh god I don’t know… I just want to look and feel hot when I’m going out and what that is changes all the time.

VMAN: How do you define success?

HD: I guess getting to work on projects that excite and fulfill me. I have been so lucky in these last few years. There’s still so much I want to do, and I’m also aware how fleeting it can all be.

VMAN: You’re back in the world of ‘Wednesday’ for season three—what are you looking forward to the most?

HD: To go hang out with everyone in Dublin again! I love everyone involved in that show so much.
