V’s Kevin Ponce Picks The Best Pride Month 2020 Collections

V’s Social Media Manager, Kevin Ponce (@thekevinponce), curates a selection of her favorite pride collections to celebrate this momentous month!

As pride month comes to a close, here at V, the spirit and message of pride reigns on. Visibility for the LGBTQIA+ people of the world is incredibly important, now more than ever. We are just like you. We are HUMAN. Our voices will no longer be silenced and shamed. This month as a whole means more than just waving a cute flag around or hash-tagging #PRIDE on an Instagram post. The larger purpose is meant to educate and shed light on the many movements that have transpired and the many trailblazers who came before us, fighting for our rights so that we can simply exist in society. Our beautiful rainbow flag has become a symbol for all queer folk, representing a badge of honor of some sort, that encompasses the dignity, equality, and increased representation of our community.

In celebration of the powerful strides that have been made towards equality, many global fashion brands have decided to use their platform and privilege for good, participating in the conversation and movement for the queer community. Today, we’re taking a look at just some of the fabulous pride collections that were released over the last several weeks, with a concentration on brands who are giving back and donating proceeds made from the lineups to various charities and initiatives from around the world. From sneakers to sweaters, bags to tattoos, you’ll be sure to sprinkle a little rainbow everywhere you go. As a member of the Trans community myself, I find it important to not only spotlight the brands who are partaking in pride but to also champion the organizations that are creating real change within our community.

Below, you’ll find our curated list of collections to shop from and various organizations you can donate to directly.
