Ariana Grande, “Eternal Sunshine”
After a nearly four-year musical hiatus since her most recent project positions, Ariana Grande is finally back with her long-awaited album eternal sunshine – proving the wait to be well worth it. The vulnerable, R&B-inspired record contains some of her best, most cohesive work to date. Grande’s lyricism shines through on tracks like “true story,” “i wish i hated you,” and “imperfect for you,” while Max Martin’s impeccable production stands out on tracks like “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” and “the boy is mine” in particular, which re-envisions a ’90s classic.
Maggie Lindemann, “HEADSPLIT”
Following her 2022 debut album SUCKERPUNCH – and the sold-out world tour and over 200 million streams that came with it – Maggie Lindemann is back and better than ever with her latest project HEADSPLIT. The eight-track EP is packed with raw emotion, particularly on the standout track “taking over me,” accompanied by a music video that pays homage to the 2003 coming-of-age classic Thirteen.
Bktherula, “THE WAY”
Atlanta-native Bktherula returns with her latest single “THE WAY,” part of her highly-anticipated upcoming project LVL5 P2 out March 15, the follow-up to her acclaimed 2023 record LVL5 P1. Her unique genre-bending style of psychedelic rap combined with ethereal instrumentals like strings and synths make this track a standout.
Judith Hill, “Dame de la Lumière”
Grammy-winner Judith Hill’s latest track “Dame de la Lumière” is a beautiful tribute to her mother and grandmother, while also acting as a testament to the strength of women as a whole. The stunning tribute is accompanied by a music video and is the latest of three tracks released thus far on Hill’s forthcoming album Letters from a Black Widow due April 26.
