As the holiday season approaches, our favorite artists’ new releases are only getting better. Nicki Minaj and Tate McRae have each released their highly-anticipated albums, while FLETCHER is revisiting old flames on her latest single. Maren Morris has teamed up with Diplo to create another EDM hit, and breakout artist Brenn! is back with a vulnerable new track. Add these new releases and more to your playlist this week!

Nicki Minaj, “Pink Friday 2”

One of 2023’s most anticipated releases from global superstar Nicki Minaj did not disappoint. With interpolations and samples of legendary artists like Cyndi Lauper (“Pink Friday Girls”) and Gen Z icons like Billie Eilish (“Are You Gone Already”) as well as features from Drake, Future, and Lil Wayne, Pink Friday 2 showcases Minaj’s powerful skills as a collaborator as well as an individual artist.

Tate McRae, “THINK LATER”

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Tate McRae’s highly-anticipated sophomore album THINK LATER is finally here—and as expected, the track-list is jam-packed with instant pop hits. Executive produced by hitmaker Ryan Tedder (who’s worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé), the album playfully explores spontaneity and falling in love as McRae’s vocal talent and songwriting skills shine.

FLETCHER, “Eras Of Us”

“Eras Of Us” is FLETCHER’s first release since her 2022 debut full-length project Girl Of My Dreams, and she’s proving that her raw and visceral songwriting along with her striking vocal abilities have continued to soar above expectations. The brand-new track vividly describes reuniting with an ex-lover and the flood of memories that come with the encounter. “Eras Of Us” is accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Alexandre Moors (having worked with Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar).

Maren Morris & Diplo, “42”

Country superstar Maren Morris has been vocal about distancing herself from the genre. As she prepares to release her album with none other than producer Jack Antonoff, her upcoming musical style remains to be seen. But for now, she’s revisiting the genre that made her a household name across genres—EDM. Reminiscent of her 2018 collaboration “The Middle” with Zedd, the addictive “42” is sure to get stuck in your head immediately with Morris’ captivating vocals along with Diplo’s production.

Brenn!, “Looking For”

Rising singer-songwriter Brenn!’s latest single “Looking For” is his fourth authentic, heartfelt track released this year. With incredible vocals, acoustic guitar and banjo instrumentals, and vulnerable lyrics, “Looking For” cements Brenn! as a storyteller to watch going into 2024.
