As we approach the holiday season in the third week of November, music’s latest releases are only getting better and better. The multi-talented superstar Reneé Rapp is back with a deluxe version of her debut album Snow Angel, while Sabrina Carpenter is ringing in holiday cheer with her fruitcake EP. Incredible collaborations from BIBI and Becky G to Madi Diaz and Kacey Musgraves are also making waves, while newcomer Tish Melton is back with her latest single produced by the iconic Brandi Carlile. Add these tracks to your playlist in time for Thanksgiving!
Reneé Rapp, “Snow Angel (Deluxe)”
After singer, actress, and Broadway star Reneé Rapp’s Snow Angel became the most streamed debut album by a female artist across all genres this year, she’s back with a deluxe version of the project featuring four brand-new tracks – the upbeat, tongue-in-cheek anthem “Messy,” devastatingly beautiful ballad “I Do,” lyrically introspective “Swim,” and a highly-anticipated remix of her hit song “Tummy Hurts” featuring Grammy-nominee Coco Jones. The extended edition adds even more depth to the already incredible project and Rapp’s discography as a whole.
Sabrina Carpenter, “fruitcake”
Global pop star Sabrina Carpenter is currently making headlines for her incredible stage presence while accompanying Taylor Swift on the Latin American leg of her acclaimed Eras Tour, but she’s still finding time in her schedule to celebrate the upcoming holiday season! Her EP fruitcake includes five original seasonal tracks along with the fan-favorite previously released “A Nonsense Christmas,” a festive lyrical twist on her smash hit “Nonsense.”
BIBI, “Amigos (with Becky G)”
K-Pop superstar BIBI and Latin pop icon Becky G are joining forces for a star-studded collaboration on their latest track “Amigos.” The addictively playful track is sure to make waves among the huge global fanbases of both artists, arriving on the heels of BIBI’s successful debut album including her hit “BIBI Vengeance,” which amassed over 100 million streams and earned her five million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Madi Diaz & Kacey Musgraves, “Don’t Do Me Good”
Emerging indie-alternative artist Madi Diaz is teaming up with country icon Kacey Musgraves in her latest of several cross-genre collaborations this year. Along with Diaz, Musgraves has made headlines for her incredible duets with Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan – and the devastating country-pop ballad “Don’t Do Me Good” is no exception. The latest single from Diaz’s upcoming album Weird Faith and follow-up to her earlier track “Same Risk,” the song is quintessentially Diaz while also highlighting Musgraves’ strengths.
Tish Melton, “The Chase”
Emerging singer-songwriter Tish Melton is back with her second single “The Chase,” a follow-up to her debut “Michelle” last month. Produced by the one and only Brandi Carlile – Melton’s musical mentor – and accompanied by a stunning music video, the track delves into teenage angst. “The Chase” showcases the newcomer’s witty and honest lyricism – “You still call yourself a blonde / You got a thing for holding on / But you let go of you when you let go of me / And your hair’s been brown since you were 13.”
