June is coming in hot with new releases from some of our favorite reigning pop princesses – its second week brings highly-anticipated releases from Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, and Charli XCX. Little Big Town and Kelsea Ballerini are teaming up on a duet for the band’s iconic 25th anniversary Greatest Hits album out this August, while country rising star Kiely Connell is back with her latest single. Check out these releases and add them to your summer playlist below!

Sabrina Carpenter, “Please Please Please”

Sabrina Carpenter’s record-breaking, addictive song of the summer “Espresso” is hard to follow up – but “Please Please Please” may have done just that. The tongue-in-cheek, slightly country-esque track is reminiscent of Kacey Musgraves’ twang in “High Horse” as she sings about hoping she won’t regret hard-launching her current relationship with actor Barry Keoghan – who appears as himself in the accompanying music video, making the fun, sassy single even more meta.

Gracie Abrams, “Close To You”

Gracie Abrams’ upcoming album is full of exciting new tracks written in her new era – including an upcoming duet with none other than Taylor Swift herself, who Abrams shared the Eras Tour stage with. But the album’s second single, “Close To You,” was written seven years ago. After Abrams posted 20 seconds of a demo on social media years ago, fans relentlessly begged to receive the upbeat, earnest anthem on streaming. They finally got their wish, and the track surpasses even the highest of expectations.

Charli XCX, “BRAT”

UK hyperpop star Charli XCX is giving us all the club bangers we need this summer! Her eighth studio album BRAT is packed with 15 tracks, including the previously-released singles “360” and “Von dutch,” as well as new tracks like “Apple” and “Mean girls.”

Little Big Town & Kelsea Ballerini, “Shut Up Train”

Multi-platinum, Grammy-winning quartet Little Big Town is celebrating 25 years of record-breaking, influential country music with their first-ever career-spanning Greatest Hits album expected this August. Leading up to its release, they’ve partnered with fellow country superstar Kelsea Ballerini on a duet of their 2011 hit “Shut Up Train,” adding to other reimagined duets with Miranda Lambert and Sugarland on the upcoming project’s tracklist.

Kiely Connell, “Through To You”

Nashville singer-songwriter Kiely Connell is back with the second single from her vulnerably honest sophomore album My Own Company due July 19. “Through To You” delves into small-town rockstars’ struggles with addiction, emphasized by her powerhouse vocals and stellar lyricism.
