adidas Originals and Wales Bonner continue their ongoing partnership with their brand new Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The central focus of the “Land of Wood and Water” collection switches to the Caribbean as the British designer explores the Trefoil’s lasting presence within Jamaican culture.

Elevated vintage silhouettes and refreshing colors take center stage in the latest unisex collection. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes and surroundings of Jamaica, the collection showcases various standout pieces with unique color palettes. From a coordinated light teal nylon tracksuit and a signature tracksuit with refined knit construction to a striking silver anorak ensemble with matching shorts,the duo works to pay homage to Jamaican culture. Additional highlights include a cozy toweling top and shorts set, a knitted roll neck featuring geometric patterns, a stylish sweater vest, a versatile neutral sweater, and sweatpants combo, as well as two vibrant short-sleeve cotton t-shirts.

Wales Bonner breathes new life into two adidas classics in the footwear lineup. Embracing elevated elements and surprising accents, the iconic WB Samba makes a comeback in two unique styles: one featuring a neutral color scheme with a nubuck upper and leather stripes, while the other boasts a silver leather upper adorned with crochet stripes. Furthermore, the WB SL72 Knit reimagines the retro adidas runner with a knitted upper, paying tribute to Jamaican culture in two distinct colorways.

Photography and directing duo Jalan and Jibril Durimel skillfully capture the essence of the collection through an immersive campaign. Building upon previous seasons’ visual aesthetics, the campaign tells a joyous tale of individuals, their surroundings, and the concept of home. From traversing the enchanting landscapes to showcasing expressive style, the visuals, styled by the esteemed Tom Guinness, beautifully illustrate the intersection of place and cultural identity.
