Drawing inspiration from the swirling grandiosity of the cosmos, the Vivienne Westwood 2023 bridal collections pay homage to the shapes, colors and explosions of the night sky. Eye-catching drapery and sweeping necklines guide the collections, while dreamlike capes, trains and long-line boleros define the collections’ silhouettes. Reminiscent of the luminescence of the astros, sequined fabrics, lush satin and metallic embellishments transport you straight into the stars.

In the made-to-order collection, a nebula-inspired color palette takes on silvery whites, iridescent blush pinks and golds and holds them against the vibrancy of rich red, aquamarine and sapphire blue. Each of the twelve gowns offer a transformative edge – whether it be the removal Galaxy Cape or the asymmetric Luna minidress, each piece strives to innovate the bride’s look.

Designed, sampled and hand-crafted in England, the collection utilizes lower-impact fabric options such as tulle, sequins, lace and taffeta – all certified as recycled – as well as, an FSC-certified viscose and acetate crepe satin, georgette and stretch satin.

For the Vivienne Westwood bespoke collection, celestial references reign supreme in the nine dresses offered. From the corseted Interstellar gown and its asymmetric sweetheart neckline to the gorgeously embroidered Luminara, a contemporary bias-cut gown, each style stays true to its night sky inspiration.

From the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Autumn-Winter 2023/24 runway collection, there’s the Angelica Mini and the Angelica Cloud gown, two variations of an ultra-feminine cut made to accentuate any bride.
The 2023 bridal collections are available from Vivienne Westwood boutiques in London, Paris, Milan, New York and Los Angeles with select made-to-order looks available online.
