Wardements' latest collection has made a splash for the Fall/Winter 2018 season. The streetwear brand with an aesthetic for the outlandish, founded by renowned hair stylist Ward Stegerhoek, brought another collection of eclectic looks that are unique to the Wardements brand.

The new range included a combination of references from club kids (see: ACID) and pop culture. The accessories, specifically the boots and hats, were created in collaboration with Frye and Kangol. The pieces include classic patterns like plaid, camouflage, and tie dye, plastered across leggings, tee shirts, oversized sweatshirts, and bomber jackets. It’s like athleisure meets GI Jane.

This season, Wardements has partnered with Orange Babies, an organization that helps protect HIV-infected pregnant women and their babies through various projects in South Africa, Namibia, and Zambia. A portion of proceeds from limited edition hoodies and t-shirts from the collection will be donated to Orange Babies. The collab itself was launched at our pop-up shop last month, presented by photographers Inez and Vinoodh.

The brand itself is new, only launching recently for the Spring 2018 season. Stegerhoek says of his newfound fashion designer title, “After all the hard work and all I’ve achieved in hair, I’ve never seen a reaction like this. Fashion wasn’t something I was planning.” And we hope it's something he keeps continuing. Check out the Fall/Winter 2018 collection below.
