Watch Harry Styles Perform a Cover of Lizzo’s “Juice”

“She’s exactly what you want an artist to be, which is themselves.”

Harry Style took over BBC Radio 1’s stage with a live rendition of Lizzo’s viral song “Juice”, and she loved it. The 25-year-old “Adore You” singer sported his collaborative t-shirt with Alessandro Michele as he made the popular song his own. Altering the melody to fit his vocal approach and referencing his guitarist by changing the word “bitch” to “Mitch”, Styles harmoniously executed the wide-ranged track and gave us a performance we truly didn’t know we needed.

Before performing the song, Styles paid proper respect to Lizzo’s authenticity as an artist. “I just think she’s amazing,” Styles said. “She’s one of the most exciting artists working now for sure. She’s exactly what you want an artist to be, which is themselves.” Proceeding to perform with just as much personality as the “Juice” singer herself, Styles unleashed his inner-Lizzo in full force.

The 33-year-old pop sensation noticed Styles’ viral performance and took to her Instagram Story to express her gratitude to the former One Direction member. “This is so cute @harrystyles ily,” she wrote with a clip of the performance. Amidst all the buzz, we sense a friendship brewing between the two superstars, and who knows, maybe they have a collaboration cooking too.
