Kim Petras’ latest single “Icy” gets an equally cool music video. The song is off her debut album Clarity, which came out last June. “Icy” is a beat-heavy track that sees Kim breaking free from a toxic relationship and her vulnerabilities in order to become a more confident and independent woman. 

On the video, Petras shares her vision: “I wanted the visual to feel fresh and signify becoming a stronger version of myself. The video starts with me feeling trapped and watched in a glass box, but as it progresses, I escape and evolve into a bionic version of myself through the pain of heartbreak.”

Petras is having an eventful month, with the release of her Halloween-inspired project TURN OFF THE LIGHT, and is getting ready to embark on her headlining tour, which will hit North America before making its way to Europe.
