Rapper and singer Lizzo has graced our ears (and dreary, still-not-spring week) with the cover we never knew we needed so badly of “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. The video of the acoustic performance was posted by Sirius XM and shows Lizzo twirling her hair as she begins the slow-starting song, maybe to distract us from what to come.

After the release of the film, Shallow entered the charts and hasn’t left since. It also went on to win Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson an Oscar and the performance that spurred a million tabloid rumors about Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. And now it seems as though there will be another rise of plays after Lizzo’s rendition that she wrapped around her own sound so effortlessly.
