THE FIFTH FILM BY DIRECTOR NICOLAS WINDING REFN EXPLORES THE DARK UNDERBELLY OF L.A.'S FASHION AND BEAUTY WORLD

Get ready for the blood, glitter, and drama! No, really. The first trailer for Nicolas Winding Refn’s Neon Demon has just been released by Amazon Studios and it’s hypnotically chilling. Starring Elle Fanning, the film follows the story of a model named Jesse, who moves to L.A. and gets involved with a group of women who become obsessed with her youth and vitality. Jena Malone, Keanu Reeves, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Bella Heathcote, and Christina Hendricks are also on the cast list.
You may be most familiar with Refn's 2011 hit Drive, featuring Ryan Gosling. The actor also appears in the director's 2013 movie Only God Forgives. Neon Demon will have its official world premiere in the Official Competition of the 69th Cannes Film Festival and arrives to movie theaters this June. Watch the trailer for Neon Demon above.
